1. It seems that the highest note displayed in the pianoroll is not the one indicated by this button, but the note a semitone below. Is it wanted?

1. Yes, that's the intended behavior.
2. Seems to conflict with dragging track width. It's hard to fix without making it hard to change track width. You should see that the mouse cursor changes shape to <=>, meaning that it's in change-track-width-mode.

In fact, I realize that it is not only in the first box, but in the entire first column that I cannot enter a note. Yes, the symbol <=> then appears.
Maybe arrange a small space to the left of the pianoroll to solve the problem? Otherwise, it doesn’t seem very serious to me. It’s just a bit surprising. You just need to ask for the display of a lower note to be able to draw the desired note.
